Many companies will match charitable donations made by their employees, sometimes dollar for dollar and sometimes even more. Some employers also provide financial contributions based on the number of volunteer hours their employees contribute to nonprofit organizations.
Corporate support can come in many forms, including:
- Matching gift programs
- Volunteer hour grants
- Direct cash donations
- Event sponsorships
- In-kind donations of products or services
- Workplace giving campaigns
- Employee volunteer programs
- Partnerships with nonprofit organizations
If you have made, or plan to make, a donation to Scouting America Sequoia Council, check with your Human Resources, Community Relations, Marketing, or Public Relations department to see if your employer offers a matching gift or volunteer grant program.
If your company participates, simply follow these steps:
- Make your donation to Scouting America Sequoia Council.
- Request the matching gift or volunteer grant form from your employer.
- Complete the employee portion of the form.
- Submit the form to Scouting America Sequoia Council, 6005 N. Tamera Ave., Fresno, CA 93711.
Once we receive the form, we will complete the nonprofit section and submit it to your employer for processing.
Matching gifts are an easy way to double or even triple the impact of your contribution. Your support helps provide life-changing programs in character development, leadership, outdoor adventure, and service to youth throughout Central California.
Thank you for taking the extra step to maximize your gift and for helping us prepare more young people for life.
