FDL.png  Announcement

Congratulations to Michael Foster, District Director of the San Joaquin district, and wife Crystal who welcomed their first child, Connor Martin Foster. He was born Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 8 pounds 4 oz. and 22 inches long. Mama and baby are doing beautifully. And as you can already see, Connor is anxiously awaiting his first trip to Disneyland.

FDL.png  Membership Policy and the LDS Church

We are pleased by the announcement from the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles that the LDS Church will continue its century-long partnership with the Boy Scouts of America. We look forward to continuing our mission of instilling leadership skills and high moral standards in youth everywhere and fully support the Church’s right to select leaders that best exemplify its standards. We are grateful for the trust placed in the Scouting program by the LDS Church to help serve and build up their young men.

FDL.png  It’s Popcorn Time!

It’s that time again and we want to thank all of the units who attended our Popcorn Kick-Offs in August.  We had great attendance and everyone was excited to hear about the new incentives that we are offering on a Unit level and for Scouts!

Congratulations to the Scouts who have already activated their online sales accounts.  Every district has already had an on-line sale!  It’s the easiest way to boost your sales and it requires very little work!  Remember that we will be distributing those commissions to your unit accounts in January of 2016.

New Unit Incentive!!!  Take your earnings to a new level with our

“50% Commission on any New Sales Growth”

Earn 50% for that portion of sales above last year’s total.  Sales below growth target would be under normal commission structure.

FDL.png  Salute to Scout Night with the Fresno Grizzlies

We celebrated Salute to Scouts with the Fresno Grizzlies on Friday, August 7. Over 300 Scouts, leaders and family members enjoyed a night at the ballpark. The Scouts paraded around the field in the opening ceremonies and Pack 59 from Clovis helped present the colors. We also had lucky Webelo Scout, Matthew Chavez, pictured to the right, from Porterville Pack 3116 selected to throw out the first pitch.
