 The Goal of the Annual Rendezvous is Fun.

First and foremost, we hope you have a great time. There are many events scheduled to entertain and educate. The second goal is for every participant to advance. There are several opportunities to complete or partially complete electives and core requirements. The final goal is for Leaders to gain insight into how some of the electives can be completed.

Some of the advancement opportunities include the following:

This is a Venturing only event. There will not be a Scout in sight. Camp Chawanakee will be entirely "Venturing Greed" for the weekend.

• Complete all requirements for

  • Land Navigation (Core requirement)

  • Shooting Sports

  • COPE (Elective)

• Partially complete requirements toward:

  • Emergency Preparedness Core Requirement

  • Wilderness Survival Core Requirement

  • Sea Scout Apprentice

• Completing these God and Silver Award Requirements:

  • Ethics Forum

  • Participating in a Council Venturing Event
