  • Once you have logged in you will see a screen like this,

*Please note your screen might look a little bit different. Depending on what positions you hold in scouting you may have more or less options on your MyScouting Page.
  • From the menu on the left side you should see an option for Tour Permits. Clicking this link will launch a new window and start you on the process of submitting a tour permit online

  • The first step you'll want to do is click the Create Link on the left menu. There it will ask you to give a name for your Tour Permit. Once you have done this click the Create Permit Button
     MyScouting Create Tour Permits
  • You can then enter the Vehicle and Training information for this Tour Permit. The best part is once you enter a car's or training info the system will remember it for next time. That way you don't have to continually enter the data each time. If at any time you get lost or need help check out the instructions on the start tab or click the red help in the top right. Both offer detailed instructions on what you need to do.

MyScourting Tour Permit Steps

  •  Once you have finished filling out the data the site will give you a list of errors if any that need to be addressed before submitting to Council. Once you are complete with the full application click the button to send it to the Council. When they received it they will review it and either approve it or return it with instructions on what needs to be done to get it approved.
  •  When it comes back approved go ahead and print out a copy to take on your outing.

Don't forget it can take a while to approve a Tour Permit especially if there are a lot coming in at the same time. Be sure to get yours in 2 weeks in advance to guarantee you will get it back in time
